Laughing Through Loss: Part 2

This course is a continuation of Laughing Through Loss. Students will take their 3-5 minutes of loss-driven material to the next level through tightening exercises, punching up and formatting for either solo show development or integration into a larger context. This class will integrate performance technique and exclusive TLC blueprints for connection with the audience. Strategic branding and marketing will also be included for students looking to produce work based on their loss. Class will culminate with a virtual showcase for select few. 

Class is virtual and on Wednesday 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, [this week will be individual privates], 8/7 from 6PM - 8:30PM.

This intimate program is designed to help foster community and connection amongst other collective members experiencing similar loss while laughing through our vulnerability, pain, and eventual growth.

THROUGHOUT THIS JOURNEY, YOU WILL:

  • Build confidence to share your story using comedy

  • Learn techniques and effective ways to engage your audience

  • Foster a support system to keep laughing collectively

  • By the end of this course, you will have 3 minutes of written material for you to use however you want.
